About Cassidy
Cassidy, a Kansas native, always wanted to write. Her love for writing began with her second-grade journaling prompts that blossomed into creating her own stories at home. Now, she’s sharing her passion with the world, be it a book, essay, or documentary.
Cassidy didn't graduate from college- in fact, she dropped out to be a writer. But she's stayed busy writing stories about life (although she is a published children’s fiction author).
Most recently, Cassidy has spent time writing and producing films for KAKE, ABC. Outside of KAKE, Cassidy works toward building her own audience through publishing stories on Medium. Now, she’s taking on Substack.
When she isn’t writing, she playing her flute or playing chess (not very well, but she tries). She also has a husband who is just as silly. The only thing Cassidy loves more than him is her faith.
